The Art of Evolution

Evolution USA is like the Porsche of the winter sports world. We don't make a lot of skis and snowboards, but you should see the open-mouth stares people who own Evolution skis or snowboards receive.

Stephen Denkers, founder and president of Evolution USA, has been involved with the ski industry for much of his life. In 1985, he started Evolution Ski Company with second-hand ski-making equipment he obtained from a host of different companies -- thus the name Evolution.

Today, Evolution Ski Company is one of the only U.S. ski and snowboard manufacturers that can still proudly say, "Made in the USA." Each ski or snowboard is individually designed and manufactured, using precision-cut components and lay-up designs in a technologically advanced multi-step process.

These processes, combined with Evolution USA's new 33,500 square foot research, design, and manufacturing facility, located in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah and the "Greatest Snow on Earth," allow Evolution the ability to offer custom products for all-sized orders. Whether it is a national promotion snowboard for 7-Up or custom skis for individuals, our fearless leader Steve states it best -- "We want to be thought of as the best ski and snowboard company around, not the biggest."
